I woke up this morning to see my GBTA about half an inch away from my Condy!! The side of the Condy ne'er the GBTA is all shrivled up (retracted). Is this a big problem???

The other puzzle is this GBTA is in pore health and doesn't seem to be afected at all by the Condy. It's eating just fine but is very floressent after just over a week in my tank and lots of TLC.

A lot of experienced people here don't recommend mixing different anemones in the same tank. If you want to keep a hosting anemone, I would take the Condylactis out. It's possible that both anemones are suffering the effects of allelopathy, which could be why the GBTA also isn't doing well.

Try posting your lighting and tank parameters. Maybe one of the anemone experts will see this and help out. :)

I asked around about having the 2 different types and the majority vote was that it would be fine.

The GBTA was given to me in bad health and over the last week and a half I have been nursing it back to life. With far better results than I expected actually. It's eating chunks of shrimp soaked in viramin c every 4 days.

Well it's no longer a problem. I took out the cony and will take it to the LFS tonight. My girlfriend wants a RBTA so I'll pick one of them up eventually but in the meantime I'll just have the GBTA.
