Will peppermint shrimp eat copods??

I want to put some in my refugium, but amafraid they will eat all the copods. Thanks in advance.

In your fuge it might be a little risky. Do you have any aptaisia in your tank. They would do a great job in there.

In my experience they will eat them. Why do you want peppermints in your refugium?

I want to try and breeg them, Iheard the shring babies are like a treat for the fish.

please, please, please don't put them in your fuge. I had aiptasia in mine so I put one shrimp into a 30 gallon fuge and within a week everything was gone, including every last copepod and amphipod.

Ok thanks for all the help thats why I asked. I had just heard if they breed the baby shrimp are good food for the display tak. But if they are going to kill off everything else it hardly seems worth it. Again thanks for all the help.

Anybody know if a purple spiny lobster will eat pods? i curently have one in my 20gallon fuge.

Doubtful. They're pretty small compaired to even a juvi purple spiney lobster. How big is your SPL, a few inches?
