There was at the swap in Columbus last year. I would guess that there will be some at this one. But only a guess. if nothing else, there will be several hundred people to network with and you could more than likely find someone that has, or can lead you, to the amount of rock you are hoping to find.
You can always ask Dan from SC or Phisy Business to bring a box with them and avoid shipping charges and take it home from the swap. You would just need to set it up before hand...
Im sure Dan would Love to carry another 50 pounds with all the other stuff he has to bring
I would not except to see live rock from a vendor, Another reefer taking down a tank yes maybe.
Newsalt, Neongobyohio, Paul, is selling a vho ballas
Erik
Yea i bet thered be tons of equipment there, i figured live rock was a given.
Since its a FRAG swap, i figured all coral related stuff..im guessing thered be caclium? im looking to get some coraline going on my base rock..and while im at it, do you guys mix kalkwasser? if so what lime do you use?/where can i get it?
Mainly frags at a Frag swap but you see a some used stuff and a fish or two maybe. I'd say 70% frags and corals, 10 % clams 10 % cleanup crew type things then the rest is used equipment, new equipment and such.
There should be a pretty decent hard good raffle though that would be your best bet to score some hard goods like Calcium and Kalk.
Ron,
What are you trying to run on the vho ballast? I picked up a cheap one from Hellolights.com and it worked great on a pair of 36" tubes. They say up to a pair of 48" / 220w total on this ARO ballast for $35 and I think it was $5-6 shipping. >>> Ballast link <<<
I have been looking at those maybe I will try one, the price sure is right. One of my ballasts took a dump and I need to replace. I run 2 48" 110volt 50/50 the other runs my 03's. The hallides are probably enough light but 50/50's add some more.
