Will This Recover

I posted a couple days ago about some alk burn on a corals tips. I was dosing into the return chamber of my sump and this coral was right in the flow of my return line. The damage seems to have stopped. today i can see the neon green polyps still in the tips. Will these tips recover?

Anything is possible, PE is usually a good sign.

Not likely. Once the coral looks a lot better, you can snip them off. They will heal and start to grow again a lot faster than growing over the old, dead skeletons.
