Will this table be able to carry a 30G tank?

So i bought a table from a premium furniture company, for a new aesthetic setup I was hoping to get started. Unfortunately, it wasn't till someone mentioned whether I was sure it would hold that i actually considered this...

My girlfriend and I have tried to both stand on the table, and it didn't budge - but of course that does mean it'll continue to do so forever..

Its a tall table bring 3,5 feet high, so the legs do look kind of skinny on the photos - but they are around 2.2 inches thick. As they are not in a straight angle towards the ground I believe a lot of the pressure is on the bolts, which I have also included photos of.

What do you guys think? I had hoped to support the table further with a couple of brackets, but turns out the wall i was going to use is useless for it :(

For 30g tank, you are looking at rough estimate of 350 to 400 lbs (160-180kg) for tank, water, rock, etc.

I would be worried about slanted legs myself on that table the most. When I had my 33g before, I just used Ikea TV stand and that worked out without any issues.

I would not trust that for anything over a 10 gallon, and even that would scare me.

Totally agree. No way I would trust that table for that amount of weigh. It wouldn't take much for it to get bumped and tip in my opinion.

I build furniture...That table could be perfectly fine or not even close. The steel brace at the bottom, is that fixed to each leg and if so how? That would really determine how much weight this table can be expected to hold. But just by looking at those pics it would not seem to be a perfect candidate.

You could always take it outside and test it ( 500lbs of cement bags...or like 20 cinder blocks ), it may end as a destructive test however.

Good luck

Thank you for tuning in :) Each leg is fixed with a bolt that you can screw through the metal into the leg, Ive attached a photo.

Looks sufficiently strong enough to me..
I would not be concerned with that unless I had drunk friends that wrestle in that room..
