It may be a little late but it's a good idea to start up your generators and get your back up plan ready. And remember the whole tank doesn't need to run the full time mainly a pump for circulation and a heater. Your corals will be fine with no lights for a few days. Everyone be careful out there.

Thank goodness we got no ice and all snow. Power supply should be reliable.

a note if you do lose power and no generator. a big thing is O2 transfer, so if you take 5g out of your tank, and put that 5g back in you are oxygenating the water. doing this every so ofter while in a power out will help combat O2 depravation. if you have gas space heaters, place them near the tank so they recieve indirect heat from it. taping handwarmers on the outside of jugs can help heat them up to raise the temp a few degrees if needed.
