Wondering if people would rent a Par meter

I'm thinking of dropping the $260 on a par meter. It seems such a waste since I'll only use it once a month or so to check my bulbs after doing the inital measures. I'm wondering if I could defray the costs by renting it out. Would people consider $20 for using this a reasonable amount of time (say 2 weeks)?

I'd pay every couple months, or when I get new bulbs to get an idea of whats going on.

If I were you I would offer to come over and measure for people for a reasonable price. Even smarter way to play maybe to ask for frags? IME locals can be really generous.

Would also be neat to get an idea of what various setups around are putting out, and see them in person....hmmm maybe I should get one :)

How much for 1 day 3.2 hours???? LOL

I am not real familiar with them what do they check??????

For you Ben, $19.75. =)

Why don't you get a few people together and split the cost.
I have found that renting something to someone you know cost you in the end that frag you want would have been free but that's the guy that rented me the light meter got to get my money back

Whatever happened to the club buying a couple of instruments for member use? I think if we had a checkout form that was kept by the club it should be pretty hard to lose track of like the books have been.

You could post the person that has it on the C-SEA site and then the date it is due back and the next person on the list. If it doesn't come back on time we could all beat that person down :D

No really, what ever became of this?

The board decided against it last year. I think Carole posted the boards decision on here.
