Thats some amazing shots. So sharp. You can see every scale. Did you shoot through a box to get the top down view?

How did you get the top down view through the front glass? Whenever I try shooting at an angle to get the perspecitive, I always get distortion.

Jedininja,
it's probably because the anemone is positionned "verticaly" on the live rock. so when Mister Clown gets in the anemone, it looks like the picture was taken from above ... ;)

Jwedehase, for the lighting i used a single 580EX for "fill-in".
for those two shots, it was adjusted at -2/3 ...

the anemone also hosts other inhabitants, like this Neopetrolisthes ;)

I love the shots, how to you position your flash? Do you just push it through the glass, or do you bounce it somehow? I also love your boarder, did you hire someone, or create it yourself, looks really good!!!

Oh yeah and what camera/lens are you using LOL J/K ;)

thanx Mrs. PL-Reef. the boarder is fairly easy to do, no need to hire someone ... it just takes a couple of minutes to add it to the existing white frame.
concerning the flash (- 2/3), i use it to fill in, so it does not bounce at all ... here is an other picture of the clown ;)

WOW! Those are some sharp pictures. How can you get such good pics of the clown? My clowns are always swimming.

I have to start saving my pennies and stop buying livestock so I can get one of those cameras. Those photos are intense. But, I would also need to learn how to use it. Again, great photos I love them!!!!
