Worm ID?

I was looking in my tank when I saw this guy poking his head out of a snail shell. I'm pretty sure that he hitchhiked in a shell that my Xenia frag was encrusted on.

I think it's a bristleworm, but can anyone confirm and provide information about the species? (i.e. Helpful, harmful, etc.)

That is a bristle worm but of another species. I am not sure which kind because the head area in the pic is blur.
