I moved a piece of rock today and found about 5 of these worms swimming around the tank. They ranged in size from 1mm to about a quarter of an inch and are light-pink in color.
Are they bristleworms? There's a photo of one in my gallery.
It is a polychaete worm but it doesn't appear to belong to the family family Amphinomidae, members of which reefers call bristleworms. Unfortunately there's not enough detail in the image to tell anything more about the critter, sorry.
I've tried to get clearer photos, but I'm unable to. Would anyone happen to have more detailed photos of what this worm may be?
Is it harmful to the tank?
