Worm/ slug looking ID help?

Hi Cope --
Even though I saw your post before I didn't answer because there's just not enough detail to identify the animal from either the picture or your description. Making identifications of small critters without a specimen in hand is difficult even with great pictures. If you can capture it & photograph it in a dish (with enough water to completely cover it so there aren't any reflections and any body structures are spread out) someone might be able to put a name on it.
