Worst day!!!

Well after getting home from work today i see me big maroon clown is getting really close to my long tentical plate coral and sticking his face in it. at first i thought he was trying to host it which is funny cuz he's almost as big as the plate . then i see him take a big whooping bit out of it and rip out some of it's tenticals!!! this happened serveral times until the plate was completely closed up and i had to remove it. the plate is know sitting in compulou's frag tank until i can decide what to do. (thanks lou ). either get rid of the clown or the plate, one has to go. so then after leaving lou's house on the way home i get pulled over. i am told that i ran a red light (on a Monday night at 12am when i am almost certain that they are "flashing" red ) and that my license is supended (even though i DID pay the court fee 1/2 a year ago so that my license WONT be suspended.) so....you can say i get hope at around 1:20am in not such a good mood. but of course, it gets worse.

I head over to my tank which is a 29g Bio Cube. it still has the drip tray in the back and i was about to remove it so that i can start removing the bio balls and get that back chamber ready for a skimmer. right there laying on the drip tray in about 2mm of water is my wrasse.....breathing very heavy and halfway out of the water. He's now back in the main tank and swimming around frantically and i have no idea if he's gonna make it. so there you have it, all the event of the last 6 hours of my Monday night.

i hope the wrasse is OK, they are pretty tough! i would scold my clown and sentence him to two day without food. :lol: sorry, tryin to make ya feel a little better after a s_ _ky day.
i would tell ya some joke but i would defiantly get kicked off RC if i did!

A bite out of the long tentacle plate would just drive me nuts, dont get me wrong I love my clowns...

but I love my plate... He got frazzed about something last week and stayed closed up most the day for the whole week.... that entire week was a bad week man! Make the plate happy, it's yer karmic ally.... (okay so I'm completely full of BS, but trust me a happy plate will at least give you something to be happy about yourself).

I'd boot the clown.... And the wrasse, needs to make it!

I've had the same Maroon Clown for about 4 years. The first time I introduced a Bubble Tip Anemone the clown nipped at the tips of the tentacles for a while, ripping some of them off. I thought he was going to tear the [expensive] thing to pieces. He didn't, after a while he settled in and was happy as, well, a clownfish in an anemone. Maybe your clown was doing the same to the plate?

Thanks guys. Update is the wrasse made it and is feeding this morning like normal I guess thats something to be happy about. Still not sorry happy about having to go to court well i guess thats life.

I think you could have gone to jail for driving on a suspended license, so it could have been alot worse. I guess it's all relative, though....

Actually something did happen to Pedro, he had a nice lunch at a Cuban cafe near my house.
