Worth fragging these heads?

I have a large Frogspawn, it's not very uncommon, just a plain old green one. On the bottom of the colony many of the heads are dying (I would imagine to lack of light, as the newer growth shades them out). I was wondering if people think it's worth it to frag the lower heads off to keep them alive? What would you do?????

Oh, and I just turned the light on so the this doesn't look the best in the pictures, in real life it's very full and 'puffy'.

When fragging these do you just break off that whole branch with the head on it back to the main stalk? I have some of the same issue you have.

Yea might as well harvest them while you can. In the right conditions a FS can grow pretty fast so in a year or two you may you may run out of room to keep them.

I went ahead and fragged them. I used a dremel with a diamond blade... it made quick work and a nice clean cut. The almost dead frags look much happier, I bet the'll grow out into new colonies.
