Would appreciate some input on a build

This is what I'm planning on doing in my basement/garage.

Is there anything I'm overlooking, or do you think this will work?

Thank you for any advice/suggestions...

Here's the main layout of the project. I won't be putting the DSB afterall. I'll use that for rock rubble and frags instead.

Here's a rendering of what it should look like when finished.

Looking good C! I can't wait to help you put this together.

Oh btw, I would have the filter sock on the first drain :-)

Wow, looks really nice! I don't know much about physics, but although I realize the drain will still drain regardless of the vertical section - will the drain flow be restricted in any way that might cause you a problem?

That first huge U coming out of the display drain looks like a prime spot for debris to collect. You might consider building in a way to easily open up and clear our the bottom line of that U.

nice catch there rivoth!

Carlo, I guess when we put it all together we can build that on an angle as to not have it collect any debris?

Thanks.. I was thinking of that as well. 1 option is to siphon out the debris from the airhole on the top (if I use the same design).

Another option would be to add a T to the lowest part, and cap it so I can drain it from time to time.

here's another view:

My setup goes through the wall into the garage as well. Just keep the hole in the wall neat and closed up. Biggest piece of advice would be to wall off the equipment area in the garage/basement. I framed the walls in my garage but took a while to finish them. Rusted a LOT of tools. I've got about 230 gallons out in the equipment room in the garage, humidity is 65-70 in the winter and 75+ in the summer. I had an exhaust fan in the ceiling, but shut it off for too long and it froze up with rust. Overall it's great to have the equipment in its own room, rather than under the stand.
