Would like to add another trigger

Is it ok to add a Blue Jaw Trigger with a Niger Trigger that has been in the tank for a long time?

That is iffy.have you added any other fish since the niger has been in the tank.He might get a little territorial.Try tp put him in at night after the niger is asleep and you should be ok.If not pull the niger out for a few hours, put the blue jaw in and reintroduce the niger after a few hours.I have a all aggressive trigger tank and i just added a 3'' tomato clown.I added him after they were all asleep.And the next day no problems what so ever.

I had added another clown fish and a damsel someone had given me because they had to move out of state but that was during the summer. I have had the Niger , the mimic tang, diamond goby, firefish and the baby clown for about a year now. They dont fight one bit. THe only problem I had was when I got the niger he ate 2 small engineer gobies the nite I got him.

One trigger is enough for a 65.

If you want more triggers, get a bigger tank.

I plan on building a larger tank within the year once I have my home projects all finished

Both triggers are easy enough to find. Wait until you have the bigger tank, then get it.

I might as well wait like you said. Id rather not lose a fish because of stress to the tank.
