Would like to borrow Gyre

Hi guys,

I knwo this is a strange request but would anyone have a Maxspec Gyre they are not using that they would be willing to let me borrow for a week? I just want to make sure before I buy one that it will actually work for my tank. I don't have the standard pile of live rock setup so and I don't knwo what this kind of pump might do in my tank.

I think Fish Street had some for sale in the US last month. There are some forum posts from those who got their hands on one. The initial supply sold out very quickly though. So now we are waiting for them to send another shipment. I've heard anywhere from the end of March to May as to when they are supposed to be available again.

I've got a Maxspect 130 on my 36 gallon bowfront and already picked up a model 150 for my 180 gallon build. If the Jebao ones look as good as they sound, I'll probably be buying one to complement the Maxspect that I'll have on the 180. Having one on each end of the tank alternating back and forth sounds ideal for randomizing flow.

I saw that a few days ago. I'm definitely curious about them and have been for a while since the Gyre came out but have held off on buying one since I had a lot of powerheads always. Now I'm down to no backups so it's time for something new. If I like that Gyre test I may buy a Jebo or probably a used Gyre. I'll update this down the road with my experience.
