Would like to see your seahorse tank

60 cube tank

Not so good iphone pictures. As you can see, I have about 20 different pieces of live coral in there, with 4 seahorses, and a handful of fish.

Maxspect 120 watt light, assorted sps (jedi mind trick, aussie acro, different montis) leathers, acans, wellso, war paint scoly, Kenya tree, eco gorgs, etc.

Feed about 4 cubes Mysis daily, and with weekly water changes keep nitrates around 40. Also run a phosphate reactor.

My new seahorse tank!

My new seahorse tank!

Here's my new 30g XH seahorse tank. I will still be adding gorgonians and corals but we are almost there. It will be home to a pair of H erectus.

Here's my tank; it's a 40 high. The height was a challenge while aquascaping. I used mag-rocks to create height and it worked great. To the left is a more cave like area and to the right i tried more of a lagoon look. Lots of things to hitch to and lots of sight breaks so the horses always feel like they have some privacy. I have a fire fish, green banded gobie, snails, pep shrimp and some tiny hermits; all peaceful corals. Don't forget to get some gorgonians!! The tank holds 2 female H. reidi from Seahorse Source. They eat like pigs and have great color. Love them! Worth all the research, planning, and $$, no doubt.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402969400.502782.jpg
