Would this be o.k.

My wet/dry should be in within a week, had to order it. Would it be o.k. to add my sand and mixed water, so I can get the salinty o.k. and get the water heated. I have 2 powerheads in tank to mix it up .I have 80# of sand and 40# of live sand. I plan on adding live rock after wet/dry gets here.
