Would you mix tunze & vortech

I have one Tunze 6105 pump and am not impressed with the flow. So I want to get rid of a korrilia and get a Vortech to run with it. Somy question is are they easy to controll together? Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks.

I am controlling 4 MP10es Vortech's and two Tunze 6105's and there are no issues. I am a little surprised that you are not happy with the flow out of the 6105's. I had to put the 12 vold jumper in (remove the 24 volt jumper) and run my 6105's at 0% and 30% in a switching fashion in order to not cause everything to withdrawl (polyps on the SPS and Softies).

How big is you tank? Are you running the 6105's under program in an oscillating fashion so that you get wave action?

I actually bought the Vortech's before I had the Tunze's and found them to be so loud that we couldn't watch a movie without hearing the alternating wine (the 120 gallon tank is in the theatre room). I swapped them out for the Tunze's and while they are not completely silent, they are barely noticable on the sound front.
