I just recently learned that New Mexico has it's own reef club. This is way too cool! I'll be talking to my better half about joining the club. We'll see how busy our schedule is for the December meeting. Hopefully we can make it. If not, then sometime in early 2007 for sure.

Until then, I'd like to introduce myself and get to know some of my fellow NM reefers.

I've been in the addiction for about 3 years or so. Right now, my wife and I have two tanks set up. a 210G mixed reef. It houses mostly softies with a few LPS and SPS. I've got a couple of clams as well. My green BTA is splitting like crazy lately and I need to find a home for a couple of the babes. If anyone is interested, let me know ;)

Tank number 2 is a 42g seahorse tank. We've got a breeding pair of H. reidi's. We've been futily trying to rear the babies for about a year. To date, we haven't had a lot of luck. Mostly frustration. We have gotten the fry to live for as long as 8 weeks, but that's when things usually go bad.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to meeting fellow NM reefers and talking about the hobby. I certainly don't know everything about this wonderful hobby, but I'm willing to share what I've learned. I'm also open to learning more.
