Hey, Yesterday I went to go feed my fish and I could not find my yellow wrass? I looked around and then I saw him flopping on the floor. I freaked and put him back in the tank, he was not swimming but his gills were moving. So I placed him in the sand bed and about 1hr later he moved under a rock. I thought he was all good, But I looked at him today and it looks like he cant swim. He is swimming around in a circle and is having a reallly hard time swimming. Is there anything I can do to help him ?
Thanks
J

I have had many wrasse jump in my day. I would advise you to leave him alone and wait it out. Anything else you do now will only add to his stress. Then ones I found quickly and got back in tank usually live. Best of luck with him.

Yes there is, put a cover on the tank. Wrasses are notorious (as well as other fish) for jumping. There are a number of good solutions out there that still allow for air exchange (most popular being mesh/screen).

Other than that, just let him be and hope he recovers. There isn't a lot you can do that won't further stress him out.
