Wrasse and cleaner shrimp

I have a reefer 450 with a yellow corris wrasse, a melanarus wrasse, and a powder blue tang, along with other docile fish. Can I add a cleaner shrimp, or will it become food for the wrasses?
Thanks in advance for your help

IMO, depends on how big the wrasses and shrimp are. Chances are better if the shrimp was in before the wrasses. I the shrimp will be small, I would say no.

I have both those wrasse & 4 others in my 650l with 2 blood shrimp & the wrasse have never bothered them...the shrimps were in 1st tho.
I'd definitely add them in after lights out if you going to attempt it....

I got lucky, Melanurus, Red Margin and Filament Flasher don't pay any mind to the CUC including a Cleaner and Fire Shrimp. Try and get the biggest shrimp, but you're still taking a chance, it really depends on the individual fish. If you get one put it in after lights out.

The fish are already in the tank. The Melanarus is about 3", and the Corris is smaller.

I'll try one after lights out and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the help guys.
