Wrasse ID Help

Hoping A Melanarus Wrasse. It was sold to me as such but looking at different sites may be either a young melanarus or a puddingwife wrasse?

is there a dark spot on the tail also? ours is changing to colored very similar as it gets older. very cool looking fosh!
