wrasse question

right now i have a red tail flasher(Paracheilinus rubricaudalis) and a Lubbocks fairy wrasse(Cirrhilabrus lubbocki) but I'm thinking about adding a Red fin fairy(Cirrhilabrus rubripinnis) and one false perc clown. do you think that would be too many for my 34g? I added the Lubbocks after my red tail and they had some issues but it seems a little better now. Would there be fights if i added the red fin and one false perc clown?

or should i just add the red fin?

my red tail really pesters my lubbocks, i added the lubbocks after too. maybe if i can catch my red tail and then keep the lubbocks in the tank when i put the red finned wrasse in and keep the red tail in a holding tank for a day or so. do you think that might help?

I think, if you can, it would be best to remove all the wrasses, rearrange the rock work, then add the wrasses all back, at the same time. The 'new' landscape, means that they all must set up new 'territory', and should prevent any bullying. I don't think the clown will bother/be bothered by any of the others.

well i can't really rearrange my rock because i already have all my corals glued in the right spots. so it wouldn't help to catch them and keep them out for a day and then put them in together?

Well, better than just adding another fish to the tank...my guess is that the original fish will go right back to their 'favorite' spots. Any change in aquascape, just to confuse them a little, would be better, BUT you know your tank best...if they fight, you might have to catch them all, again, and re-do the rock! Good luck...I presently have 4 tanks (3-130g, 1-170g) all with multiple wrasses (20+/-), planning even more in my 450g upgrade.
