I am wanting to add a wrasse or a few if possible....can these be in the same tank..( 144 gal) 6 line ....mccoskers flasher....melanarous.... and do any of these eat flatworms and junk like that....and do any of them bother shrimp(blood red fireshrimp), snails, or hermits. Thanks

well...I sold my melanurus to someone who had a 6 line and the 6 line gutted her...ruthless fish. It was in a 6ft 125g tank, too! I do McCosker's and Melanurus combo. Melnaurus may bother inverts when they get to full grown size. Mine took care of my flat worms easily. It was maybe 4" or 3" long.

I agree with everything korrine said.

I'd skip the 6-line for sure, they can be very aggressive. The melanurus might eat small inverts but should eat flatworms as well.

I keep a six line and a melanarus together. The six line is a trouble maker, but the melanarus is much larger and they do not fight. Adding a small six line wrasse as the last fish might work, but its 50/50.
