Wrasse sensitivity to Prazipro question

Everyone....just completed the TTM on my Pink Streaked Wrasse. He is now in my 30g QT and is starting to eat. I am now getting ready to do a two round Prazipro prophalactic treatment.

I know that Wrasse are sensitive to Prazipro, but just want to know if there are certain Wrasses that are more sensitive to Prazipro than others.

I will make sure that the tank is oxygenated in advance before running the treatment, as well as removing the carbon and skimmer.

Since this Wrasse is tiny, I just want to make sure that he can handle the treatment. I have run Prazipro many times with no ill affects, but this is my first wrasse and want to make sure before I begin

Thanks in advance.

My solerensis didn't do very well with it. My coris and Lubbock did ok with it. This may or may not be relative to their species but to their individual personalities. My advice is to start with 1/2 dose, observe, then add the rest within a few hours.

I had a six line that didnt do well with prazipro at all and I ended up losing it. It went through ttm with no issues but didnt make it after prazi. other fish that were treated at the same time did fine. that was my only experience with wrasses.

Damn..... Not good responses....this fish is too awesome to lose. I normally wait to dose Prazipro at least a week after the TTM and in quarantine. I guess I could try a half dose to start just to be on the safe side, and then dose the rest later on in the day and observe.

I will make an batch of heated saltwater to keep on hand. If things go south, I can do an emergency water change ASAP.

What would be some tell tale signs that the fish is negatively reacting to the Prazipro? Slow swimming, heavy breathing, limp?

Also.......would running just a half dose of Prazipro have any benefit, or does it need to be at the appropriate concentration to be effective?
