Wrasse with white fuzzy spot

Hey guys. I noticed my wrasse was swimming in circles and upside down and doing many crazy things. I checked all water parameters and they were alk 8.6, phosphate 1.0 "always been this way for over 1 year", ammonia 0, nitrate 25 "been this way for over 1 year" , nitrite 0.05. I started looking very close and it appeared he was having a problem moving his fin on the right side. I noticed towards the back he has a white spot. I took two photos the best I could. You will see the white colored spot on the back. Sorry in the second photos you can see spots on the glass. Anyone have any idea what this is? Is there anyway the Coral Beauty could have done this? I have noticed when feeding the Coral beauty can be a little aggressive. I am not sure if this helps but I just had to catch him and get a snail off because it was attached to this white spot. Also everytime the wrasse gets near the Coral Beauty the coral runs it away. All I can say now is that I hope the wrasse recovers. Hopefully someone hear has some input about this.

How long have you had the wrasse? Do you have a QT set up?

Your description of symptoms sounds rather dismal really, not a good outlook.

Does the white area look as white in person? No scar/scab beneath, no redness, just like a white cloud like substance over the skin?
How long has it been like that and when did the swimming problem occur in relation to the white area?

Well the wrasse just started swimming eratic yesterday and that is when I seen the white spot. I have neer noticed before but I can not guarantee that is has not been there. The wrasse died in QT last night. I got him out when the coral beauty started attacking. I am now watching the others to make sure they do not get the same thing. That is why I am trying to find out what it is. The white spot looked as if you took a scale from a large fish like a snapper. It was clear yet had a white haze to it. It was not buldging out or anything. It was very strange. Never seen anythign like it.

Sorry for the loss. Definately keep track of the rest of the inhabitants for even the most remote sign of similar behavior. A mycobacterium infection could be possible here or simpley a swim bladder/common infection. Let's hope the latter.

What was the last item added fish or otherwise and how long ago?
Did the angel actually make physical contact with the wrasse when it gave chase or just chased it?

The angel actually made contact from what I could see. The wrasse could not really swim away fast. All the fish were added at the same time a few months ago. No change in corals. Weekly water changes. Feeding. Everything has stayed the same. I will definetely watch the rest. Thanks Steve.
