Wrasses and Prazi Question

I've googled a few of these but it seems there's some mixed opinions and/or lack of clarity on the issue, but I had a fish die (Solon/Red headed Fairy Wrasse) yesterday a day after my third transfer in TTM.

On the second transfer I dosed prazi.

Fish seemed to be eating very well (frozen hikari/PE mysis) during the 1st 3 days and up to the 2nd transfer...until after prazi, which I dosed on the 2nd day of the 2nd transfer. (Following?)

He didn't eat when I tried to feed him before the third transfer, but otherwise seemed okay when moving him.

I'm pretty confident my salinity and temp on the 3rd transfer was consistent, and all equipment (air stone/heater) we're working appropriately. Came home from work less than 24 hours after moving it and found it dead, probably dead for hours by the looks of it. No ich, no velvet, no other notable outward signs, except his color had faded.

Is prazi something I should avoid in the future for wrasses, and what would be a good alternative if so to use during TTM?

My LFS doesn't do refunds...so I'm thinking no more $60 fish if they're not easy to get through QT.

I've been using prazi on 2nd and 4th transfers on all my previous fish.

2 clowns, royal gamma, foxface.

All fine and happy in DT now.

I did use prazi in QT for 4 leopard wrasses (couple months ago, no TTM), all did not survive QT, but I have assume this due to their risky nature anyway. Only one of them was eating well when I got them and had made it 3.5 weeks before dying, while only dosing prazi once.

I had issues with wrasses and PraziPro until I read that they can only handle PraziPro at 80% of the recommended dosage. I have treated several wrasses at 80% without incident.

Allegedly, yes it is still effective at 80% internally but I have no way to be sure. It did knock off flukes at 80%
