We are still looking for a show quality piece for our upstairs. The main floor is on the 2nd floor of our home so we don't want to put too much weight on the beams. This is in addition to my 500g I have in my man-cave downstairs. I would prefer to have a 144g tank like Fuji has in his store but they are extremely hard to find. If anyone knows of one please msg me.

Here is the one I'm picking up this weekend. I know it's not RR and that will be a challenge but I can make it work. Plus not having overflows gives me more room to work with.

I've been using a Lifereef overflow for a couple of years now and I love it. No problems at all. Mine has a black intake box inside the tank, I don't even notice it anymore. Look into it if you don't want to drill. The used forum has them all the time.

The tank looks awesome!

Cpr works well also. It would be risky. If you do hob overflow though you better do two in case one fails.

thinking about a 30g sump paired with a fluval FX5. I've got to see what kind of space I'll have underneath this thing first.

I've had a CPR as well. The Lifereef is far less of a hassle. No pump needed to keep the siphon. The only time it's lost siphon is when the U tube is pulled out of the water. Starts right back up after a power outage. As far as I can tell the only way it would fail is blockage from a snail or something.

Agree whatever you use I would use two Jason. Fx5 is good but not really needed. I would just get a filter sock. Since I have been here in Ohio I have learned a lot. I took care of all the service accounts at reef systems and now Im aquarium adventure taking care if saltwater as well as doing service. The live rock is all you need. I dont know if you have seen my youtube cgannel lately Jason but my reef is looking awesome. Im completely happy with it and I dont even use carbon or anything besides dosing 2 part. Also I just drilled a tabk for a guy the other day abd used a bit from glass holes dot com. Exceptional and cheap if u decide to go that route.

Terry any cool livestock in your area this weekend? I'll be north of Columbus tomorrow and Saturday man

Are you looking for fish or coral? It just so happens Jason that I've got two friends which live close close to me, one orders fish pretty wholesale, abd one coral for dirt cheap. I'm talking clownfish for $5.
