WTB 150 watt Reef optix 3 plus reflector and

I have a Reef optix 3, 250w pendant you could have... I'm not sure about the socket size working with your 150w bulb though.

I'm actually looking into a 180 RR around August. I will need another fixture to fill that 6 ft span. I decided instead of having a mixed reef and a FOWLR I would just do a big mixed reef. I could possibly hang that 250 over the center portion and maybe up higher than the 150's and not see too much of a difference. So I may take you up on your offer. I will be at MS on Thursday we can talk more then.

I assume the fixture takes a double ended bulb but I just wanted to be sure.

yeah I was just pricing out some things looks like I would still have to spend around 260 bucks to get a ballast and bulb. Thats with a blue wave 3 ballast and a 20k+ Ushio bulb. Do double ended bulbs not come in 175 watt?

Sometimes the DE bulbs say "150w" which I understand is the same thing.

Are you saying a 175 watt ballast would run a 150 watt de bulb?
