i got the fixture from wal-mart. its a Regent 300-500w Halogen flood light. the 70w mh bulb fits perfectly in there.

here is a link to the bulb i bought. i bought a cheap to make sure the project would even work. there is alot of better quality bulbs out there. but this one hasnt givin me any problems, yet. =)

maybe alil over $50, probably like $75 with all the tax/shipping.

just wire everything together, you'll need a 3-prong plug thing from Home Depot too.
