Wtb another tank

I have a 29BC and my family loves it. I am starting my research on buying another tank. We want a bigger tank. I have enough room in my basement/game room for any size tank I can buy. I am thinking 125 gallons or a 93 cube, but I have been looking at 75 gallons also. My questions are; 1st and foremost, does anyone have a suggestion on where to get a great deal on a tank, new or used? Is there a number of gallons where it becomes more of a headache? How much should I pay for a used tank? Am I better off buying a new tank or build one? I don't believe I will be buying any live rock this time, I have read too many horror stories. I will wait it out and let nature cycle my tank and the bacteria to grow on the rock.

Honestly, I wouldnt get anything less than a 120 and dont get a 5ft 120. Get a a 4x2 standard 120. Get a reef ready tank, dont get anything you need to drill or have to use a HoB overflow. Price varies widely depending on what comes with the tank etc. Call the local stores and see what they have new and used, check C-list and see whats out there.

I love my 210g tank. I wasn't intending on going that big, but when a deal that I couldn't pass up was offered, I took it. Basically, I went to buy some rock for a tank I was building. The rock was in this 210g tank, but the tank had been drained. I made the guy a deal on both the tank and the rock and he took it. The moral of the story is that when people are done with this hobby, they want out and they want everything gone. Don't be afraid to buy used. Especially if the tank is currently running and you can tell it holds water.

I don't think much changes with a bigger tank other than the time and money you spend on it. More water for water changes. More lights. Bigger skimmer. More rock. All of that adds up to additional cost, but I think that additional cost is worth it to have the ability to have most of the fish you'd see in the LFS.

But once that stuff is all purchased, I don't think there's much difference between my big tank and the 55g tank I had before this one.

Bigger is always better. I have had 55, 75, 90 and 120 gallon tanks. By far the 4x2 120g aquarium is the best size in my opinion. It has both the viewing and swimming length for a lot of fish plus the front to back depth for good aquascaping. Also it is the max depth that I can reach my arm all the way to the bottom anywhere in the tank for maintenance.

I have an acrylic tank, stand, canopy, and sump for sale. Tank dimensions is 48x24x32 and have center overflow. Asking $650
