Hey all,

I am looking for a BRS mini reactor for my 20G cube to start carbon and GFO and was wondering if anyone had one that they are not using anymore. Thanks!

I posted a phosban reactor for sale. That is what I have used as my reactor.

Interesting, so can I run a mixture of GFO and Carbon together with this one? What are the main, if any, difference between the two?

Also NewJack thanks! I actually already saw that thread, but he is asking retail price for his. Which actually isn't that bad of a deal since he says his is new and with him I would have 0 tax/shipping costs, but I just want to see if there are any other options first :)

You can put whichever media you want in media reactors. As long as it has the right volume, surface area for media to work.

Typically this is limited by your pump flow rate and how turbulent it tumbles your media. If you tumble/agitate it too much, it just comes out of the output and you end up with carbon or GFO in your sump.

I think there is a preferred order for carbon and GFO. I think it is GFO on bottom, carbon on top.

Thanks, for some reason I thought that phosban was some kind of magical substance or something. Not go:spin3:. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be going to Berkley anytime soon.
