WTB: Dwf Seahorses

ive seen them online alot for like really cheap. ive also seen them at chicago aquatics in orland a few times. keep us updated on if you get them and how they do, they sure are interesting

I keep/breed dwarf seahorses ( along with other species ) and I have to say they are harder to keep than the larger species . also , be prepared to raise and feed live foods for their whole lives . they will rarely take to frozen food . my adult dwarfs are only 1.5" max with tail. the "cheap" ones people are finding are more than likely wild caught , this is not a good thing when it comes to seahorses . the wilds are prone to diseases . whatever you decide to do, please buy only captive bred and do alot of research first. if you have never kept seahorses before I suggest either the erectus or the reidi breeds ( I like the erectus best ) they are both more hardy species. I have dwarfs and erectus juvi's that I have raised , but I am really picky about who I will sell them to .
