WTB Live rock

if you want coralline you will pay alot higher price. here are some of the sites i can remember that have cured and uncured with good coralline: www.premiumaquatics.com, www.liveaquaria.com, www.marinedepot.com. ive ordered from all 3 and always got good rock. but i must say www.premiumaquatics.com has the best quality. the Kaelini and Fiji are better (IMO) than the other rocks they have listed. and (PA) is the only ones i know will sell by the pound. ask for 5 lbs. get 5 lbs. ask for 25 lbs. you get 25 lbs. good luck, and tell Jeremy, John/AKA "nano4brains" sent you, he might give you a better deal!

if youre looking to buy the stuff locally, i would say go to Old Orchard Aquarium. They have very nice pieces for $5.50/ lb, its the best rock around for that price , in my opinion. It has good coraline growth, and often nice dusters and stuff. Also, if you are closer to the city, check out Golden Aquarium, on archer by Chinatown. They have some nice rock for around $5 a lb.

I couldn't agree more about Old orchard. That's where I got 99% of the live and dry goods for my tank, and would love for more people to give such a deserving store bussiness.

looking for close to 30-35 pounds. Will definitely check out that one on archer but if ianyone is sellling near chicago that would be perfect. I am currently located in cicero

that's cool, I'm in cicero too. scotts petshop in westchester has nice rock too, for $8 a lb, but for the price I prefer old orchard. let me know if u ever wanna go on a live rock hunt :)

i found that the rock at scotts doesnt really have any life on it and the stuff they have is quite a bit overpriced
