WTB: Live Rock

I bought a tank a couple months ago, and I would really like to set it up. I need help finding some good, cheap rock for my 12G.

If you're looking to get rid of about 15 lbs or a little more, let me know! Also, wouldn't mind a little bit of live sand, if anyone has any.

tampabaysaltwater.com has aquacultered rock, and i believe they sell by the Lb. www.premiumaquatics.com i know for sure sells by the pound and has real LR. good luck & be safe this weekend!

For 15 lb.s I would not go aquacultured rock, too dense. It will not be as productive as natural LR. Better to get real live rock and you will need less. Many of the local LFS are running specials right now.

Thanks for the input! I didn't want to spend more than $80-90 at the very most, but that's probably unrealistic. Maybe next weekend I can see what a few of the LFS has.

You should be able to get LR for 5$ a pound.

I have some L/R left over from my store. Some of it is dry & I have some in a 40 gal that is cured. I used h2o out of my reef tank to start & was dosing it with "Bacteria In A Bottle". Some good base rock pieces & some really nice shapes. PM me if interested.
