WTB Live sand/LR/ Starter gear for Newb!

Alright, hi guys. So, I've been looking around craigslist and stuff and thinking about starting my new hobby in Startwalker and eventually soon move from FOwLR to reef.

Currently, I have a tank ( about 45-50 gal) and stand. Basically, im looking to take over from somebody looking to perhaps get out of the hobby because of lack of time or any other reason. I am really looking for just the contents of the inside of the aquarium, specifically the sand/rock.

If you have leftovers from buying too much or whether you are getting out of the hobby or anything. I'd like to start my adventure in this hobby, at a discount. I am a college student just recently dropping 2k on semester because there was an issue with finances!

I love tips and tricks too. I am new to the hobby, so there is plenty to learn everyday. But I do have the basics down and i've been into fresh for awhile too.

Live sand you can pick up at a local fish store for about 20 dollars a bag.20 lbs if I am not mistaken.your biggest expense is going to be lights unless you can find some used.

Yeah I know about the 20 bucks of sand. But my whole idea is to get as much as possible- even the sand- from people that have too much or getting out of the hobby.

Taking down their stuff, but still like the tank or something like that is ideal.

I do have a stand for a 48"×18" tank you can have if you want it fits a 75 or 90 gallon tank it has stand and canopy retro fit vho lighting bulbs need to be replaced also 250 mh bulb also needs replacement and some extra ballasts (icecap 660 for the vho and icecap250 for the mh)pm me if intrested
