ORA lists two types on their website that are sold as captive raised and bred. They also claim that they will eat frozen food.

I've gotten some from 2 very unpopular places: total fish and pets in Alhambra and Pasadena tropical fish. I also over feed so it's not as hard for them to get food

I purchased a regular one who eats pellets. You still need pods you will not be able to keep a mandarin from only prepared foods.
