anyone know where to buy mrs. wage's pickling lime. checked out a few wal marts in the area and could not find the stuff anywhere.

The last time I looked only place I could get it was online. I have some extra kalk if youd just like to get a typical size kalk container for a few bucks, or you can get the same stuff from 2 part sollutions. Works as well as any others Ive tried.

When I was using kalkwasser I got mine from the "Roseville Tortilla Factory"
They call it "CAL"
I used that for over a year.
Same stuff, and local, and very cheap over there.

I "thought" I saw some at the safeway on dewey/madison one time if the walmarts dont pan out.

Be sure to let us know where you find it. Pickling Lime is on my list of stuff to get, too. I have not yet checked either of the Walmarts in Roseville. Everytime I'm there I forget about it.

Well not the exact same stuff, but I am a fan of Mississippi Lime. If you are in a crunch and need some of the white powdery gold... lemme know.
