I have one laying around. It has some issues... I know for sure that 3 of the outlets work completely fine. The 4th I do not know if it was my controller or the DC4 itself causing the problem but I had some issues where it would occasionally not work right. If you're interested let me know and make an offer.

I was looking at the 2 outlet expansion channel the other day online and was not sure I understood how it works.........does it just plug into one of the outlets on the main DC8? Then both expansion outlets are controlled together through the outlet on the DC8? If that is how it works, then you can't control both outlets separately?

How did you use yours?

Basically yes.You can plug expansion channel into another outlet , to reduce load on another dc8 etc. I used mine to plug some higher watt heaters in, as not to overload the main power bar, but let expansion be controlled by controller.I don't remember if you can assign 1 or 2 channels for the outlets.
