Ummmm.....Are you looking for an overflow box to pull water from the display down to the sump or are you looking for something else? I'm confused now. What do you mean by "attach to the glass" instead of a hand-on?
No, you can buy a reef ready overflow and setup and then drill a tank to make it a reef ready. However, it is cheaper to buy it reef ready from the beginning, especially since we live so close to the AGA factory.
Back to DSMawd's question, I would contact any LFS that sells AGA aquariums, the item I believe you are looking for are sold as a replacement part.
That's an excellent idea, but you have to run the pipes out of the back of the aquarium, as the bottom glass piece is tempered. But that shouldn't be a problem at all.
