When I was looking to buy a skimmer for my ~140 gallon system awhile back I narrowed it down to the Bubble Magnus 160 or the Octopus DNW-150. I ended up getting a sweet deal on a DAS EX-2, but I was leaning toward the bubble magnus, if I had to choose one.

I'm quite partial to recirculating skimmers, as I think they perform much better, but if you have room in a sump the Octopus EXT-160 is a beast with a Sicce pump.

I'd say EXT-160 > BM-160 > DNW-150. and the EXT-160 is only about $10 more than the BM-160...
