im looking for at least 2 seahorses in the st louis area to raise for my kids,id like to have the easier to raise ones, tank raised, thanks

H. kudas, or erectus maybe. If you lowered the temp it would be perfect for capensis. But before you get any I would recommend doing some research on the species you want, seahorses arent easy. Also the flow in that tank might be a little high.
good luck.

its a 24 nano cube i bought for my daughter,i just want to do my homework so i dont kill them,i need the easiest to care for ones,i have 25 pounds of live rock and some cheato in the tank all cured

80F is too hot for horses. You need to get the temp below 75F IME.

24g would be to hard to keep dwarfs in.

There are mods to get the temp down, what model of nano do you have JBL, Aquapod? Some of the mods are very easy and will work great, others are more costly.

I would go with a pair of Kuda, they are hardy and available in the CB aquaculture environment. An Auquacultured horse differs from a TR or CB horse and is easier to have good succsess with.

I do think Caps would do well in a tank that size but the mod to keep the temp at 65F or below, would be expensive. Also caps aren't tht easy to come by. Brevies or whitei would do good, but same temp needs.

Go to the nano forum and thell them you need to get the temp to a stable 74. They'll have the links you need for the JBJ. Not one I have worked with personally.
