I have a 6"x28" skimmer that was running on my 500+ gallon system for over a year. It has a Sedra 5000 with meshwheel mod and skims like crazy. I upgraded to an 11"x 48" skimmer and it pulls a bit more than the smaller one did.

Here are some pics of when I did the mesh mod. I was amazed that it performed so well.

It would easily keep up with a 100g system and would probably do 300g without problems. It is also has a drilled collection cup with a barb fitting so you can use a collection canister or run it to a bucket etc... or don't use the drain if it isn't convenient.

The Sedra has a new impeller on it with about 2 days worth of use after changing it.

I paid $35 last month for the impeller and would like to get $150 for the complete skimmer with Maxi-Jet 600 feed pump included.

Thanks kevin for the offer, not looking for anything quite that big. Just going to run it on some new live rock that is pretty dirty, before I place it in my display. then will run the skimmer on a small frag tank total volume of water probably around 60 gallons.
