Just when you think you know what is in your aquarium. Woke up and found these two things in my aquarium. Please ID and are they reef safe?

Almost looks like it has some spines on it's back that are tucked in.

The first one is a Polynoidae species (scale worm) and can be considered reef safe in the sense that they only eat other small worms and such and the second one is a Cryptoplax larvaeformis (chiton) and is a harmless algae eater.
