Ok well I have 2 250 watt 10k reeflux 250 watt bulbs(used for 5 months), 2 brand new 10k 250 watt bulbs NIB, one 10k 250 watt used for 3 days now, 2 spider reflectors, and a 250watt coralvue ballast 5 months old, as well as the 20 tall.

What I need is some form of T5 lighting system for my 28 gallon bowfront and a power filter or uv sterilizer.

I figure my 2 250watt 10k reeflux bulbs, 250watt coralvue electronic ballast, and 2 spider reflectors can help me trade for a t5 system and then the 20 tall and 3 new bulbs can get me a uv sterilizer or power filter

t5 system needs to be 24inches long. pretty much someone out there wants to go with halides that currently is working with t5's and would want to do a straight up trade. Let me know if you or anyone else would be interested

I think most people are transitioning to T-5 lighting right now due to heat and power consumption, and overall quality of the lighting. If i were you i would be looking to buy a T-5 setup in the for sale forums or online. Gonna be tough finding someone willing to trade T-5's for MH. Once you get the T-5's you will see why. Good luck though. Try to find at least a 4 bulb setup when looking.

tank is only 24 inches, can I find T5 lighting that will be strong enough to work with anemone's and such.

Deffinatly. T-5's are more intense then MH. Just get a 4 light fixture so you have more bulb combination choices. A 2 bulb setup would keep anemones just fine, but the bulb combinations would be very limited. I have an anemone doing great under 2 x 55w pc lights.
