read a thread this morning....can you put iodine in a reef tank with pulsating xenia

Yes, but it actually is not proven that additional iodine helps with anything in the reef tank. Yes, crustaceans use it to molt, but there is enough in the water that should be fine. Water changes replinish anything that is missing. If Iodine is overdosed, it can actually kill things in your aquarium.
