xenia long polyps

hi all

i have noticed recently that my xenia has long polyps???

all parimeters are in good shape, y does this happen?
my lighting is 4 bulb T5 setup 120watts.

I've noticed that my xenia stretch their polyps when under lower than optimal light. Could be that yours need a little more light. What size tank do you have?

my tank is a 40gal i have T5 lightin 4 bulbs each bulb is 30 watts and each bulb is 14000k

It depends upon which species of Xenia you have. A type I used to have was under VHO with 4-6" polyps. However, the same kind was also the same length unde 250w metal halide.
