I noticed a yellow spot on my xenia. (There is another thread on here about the same thing but I didn't want to hijack their thread)
Because the yellow slime was progressing I cut the affected head of the xenia off and threw it away. I'm hopeing that will save the rest of the stalk. Does anyone have any ideas what causes this? Everything else in my tank is great. I did a 30% water change this morning just to be on the safe side and I'm the running the skimmer a little wetter to take out anything that may be in the water.
My xenia has been in my tank for a long time. It hasn't been moved and there is nothing close that can sting it. The only thing that has changed recently is I added 2 seio 2600's to increase the flow in the tank.
Thanks,
Angie
