Xenia

Because I put a small rock in the tank with two stalks on it and the next morning it was clean with just the bottom part that you would scrab with a razor.

Iodine yes
Parameters on point

Right now small yellow tang, tomato clown, coral beauty, 3 small chromis and a blood red fire shrimp. I used to have a Bluefin Damselfish when this happened.

My gess that if a fish had nipped at it, it would be your coral beauty. But I don't know if it necessarily was a fish.

Xenia are one of those corals that are hit and miss. Some people grow them like a weed, while others will crash instantly.

Keep up the water params, as well as iodine, strontium/calcium, as well as trace elements

FWIW, my coral beauty doesn't touch my xenia. You could try again and watch the fish. Check at night and see who is devouring it perhaps.

If any of it is left, I would think that it would regrow, no?

Yes. can you send????? I'm tired of wasting my money. Even though I haven't bought one since I got rid of the damsel. The LFS said it was prob. the culprit.
